Soundshield enables all operations staff and emergency call centres to meet Noise at Work Regulations for their staff. The Soundshield enables easy management of sound level output protecting employees from hearing loss that can result from both short and long term exposure to high level noise.Soundshield also provides readable data to enable monitoring of an individual's headphone sound output exposure level. Until recently it has been difficult to quantify exposure to employees, at a recent local Business Link Event a senior HSE inspector suggested H&S policy is a matter of putting the right information, procedures and facilities in place H&S then becomes a simple part of the day to day operation of a business.... The Soundshield provides an important tool in this process. The 3 key features of sound shield are that it will: - Remove 2 tones such as a fire alarm or a two tone siren from an incoming call leaving the caller's voice only for the operator to listen to.
- Protects the operator from non compliant sound levels being produced in their headset.
- Supports all Call centre headsets and ICS terminals
