Product Code: H-AD913 Interface Tecpro intercom to a simplex radio system
This is the simplest means of interfacing wired comms to wireless comms - but it has a drawback. All beltpacks will hear each other along with any traffic on the radio, and wireless comms (the radios) will hear each other but the drawback is that the radios will only hear the wired comms if they press a call light at the same time as talking on a beltpack. Trying to defeat this restriction by taping down the call light will result in a big bill for a new radio as walkie talkies are not rated for constant transmit only transmit in short bursts of conversation. The AD913 Radio interface picks up the call signal and provids the correct switching for the radio to go into transmit and the audio f rom the tecpro is passed through the external accessory socket of the walkie talkie.
