ADVANTAGES over a megaphone Audio Clarity The VoiceVest relays important vocal and tonal intonation lost when talking into a Megaphone. At 5m distance with 60dB background noise (typical street noise) the average listener will understand 9 out of 10 words said to them. At 25m on average  4 words or less will be understood and the meaning of the sentence can be lost. Wearing the Voicevest 9 out of 10 words will still be clearly heard at 25m  (Up to 50m with 60dB background or normal street level noise).   Visual Contact The microphone does not obscure the users face allowing visual contact and normal field of view.
