WHAT IS A JELIBOX?
The Jelibox is a camera crane (Technocrane and Strada) talkback talkback system with full tally facilities for a camera operator and the grips.

WHY IS IT CALLED A JELIBOX?
Jelibox is a BBC name.  We are told it is named after a cameraman who came up with the original concept!

WHY USE A JELIBOX

• Save rigging time - plug in mains and a 7 pair audio mullti (or tails) and it is almost ready  to use

• Save technical and rehearsal time - the Jelibox is purpose bulit and self contained , there is no spaghetti junction of cables under the Hot Head operators desk waiting to be kicked out!
  

• Full communications - RTS beltpacks will only provide 2 circuits - DIrector and Grips, This does not allow for Engineering talkback. 
  The Jelibox has 4 x 4 wire circuits for external commuications and 2 x 2 wire circuits for Grip's beltpacks
  

• No crosstalk - The Hot Head Camera operators microphone is always open to the grips - the Director will not hear this as crosstalk as the Grips talkback is derived in the RTS Comms in the Jelibox not at the truck

• Hands free - 2 x optional foot switches enable talk to Grips and Director
  

• PGM and Iso and Grips Tallys - RED and Green Tallies for the the camera operator. A red tally for the Crane grips if either the PGM or ISO is lit!

• Supplied with Peltor Ear Defending Headsets with noise cancelling microphones.

WHEN TO USE A JELIBOX

Any Concert, Pop Video or Live Broadcast or Major Event involving a Camera Technocrane or Strada with a loud PA system. Especially if the Crane Grips are in front of the PA stack!

SPECIFICATIONS:

HOTHEAD OPERATOR
Talkback to Director and Grips on footswitches for hands-free joystick control. Talkback to Racks. PGM Feed. TX Red tally and ISO green Tally. Plus external tally units.

Ear defending headset with noise cancelling microphone or speaker and stalk mic for walk throughs and technical rehearsals. 

Rear MDU with sockets for 2 monitors and phone charger!

GRIPS
Beltpacks with latchable microphone. The 2nd bletpack channel is automatically fed with a  mixed listen of DIR and PGM .
External Red GRIP's Tally unit for crane.
