Product Code: PL850 The PL850 is a Kenwood TKR751 repeater that has been configured for Broadcast and Special event radio communications. The radio has a 4W constant carrier for your JFMG radio talkback channels and the power can be reduced for Studio and permenant fixed location licences. 
The PL850 can be programmed with 16 JFMG BBC ITV or CH4 licensed frequencies and has a TX enable switch to enable the constant carrier. It is arequirement of the licence that the base unit does not power up in transmit. We also have 2 XLR sockets fitted for audio input and output. We have this unit on our hire fleet, it travels by courier in a Pelicase and has given us no trouble to date. A customer has 2 units in their OB truck and one lives in a flightcase at the Royal Festival hall. At the RFH a dipole sits on the floor next to the stage next and covers the whole building with minimal fuss interfacing to their wired comms system. This unit is sold with XLR input and output, 2 xN type antenna connection, 2 x 10m UHF feeder cable and 2 UHF dipoles included in the price
